Velvet Teddy- Mac

First of all I am so sorry for not posting in months! I have tried to make my blog look better, like finally learning how to do a header and I am actually quite proud of it, but I really hope that you can enjoy my blog as I really like making and experimenting with it.

I recently purchased this lipstick after contemplating on buying it since about March, I know this is a long time but I find Mac lipsticks quite expensive and I didn't want to waste my money. Now I have never actually had a matte lipstick before as I have heard that they are quite drying. Velvet Teddy is a very popular shade so I was really lucky it was in stock, when I first put it on I wasn't sure how much to put on as it is a nude colour though I did find does get darker the more you put on. AsI said before about matte shades being drying I was very surprised that it was so moisturising,it felt just like the other Mac lipsticks where it is almost like a lip balm. I would recommend to have already moisturised lips to make it look even better.

I absolutely love this lipstick and I have been wearing 24/7, I highly recommend this to anyone as I think it is very versatile, I would rate Velvet Teddy 5/5, definitely worth all £15.50

Shopping Haul!

Shopping Haul

Hi guys I hope you all had a good Easter holiday! So I didn't do much this holiday but I did go shopping! So I hope you enjoy this.

The first place I went was of course Boots as I needed some more foundation and I purchased the Rimmel 'Match Perfection' in the lightest shade, and I also bought the 'Expert Face Brush' by Real Techniques.

My second purchase was at Lush! I love Lush it's my favourite shop maybe ever! So I bought two products from Lush, the first one is 'Pop It In The Bath' bubble bar and I bought the 'Immaculate Eggception Yellow' they both smell amazing! 

The third shop I went to is H&M and bought two crop tops, one Chupa Chups top and another which says 'Everything Is Fabulous'

Last and not least I went to Too Faced! I have never been able to find the Too Faced stand before and I finally found it in Debenhams, so I bought the 'Melted' liquid lipstick in shade 'Melted Fig'

What's In My Bag

Hi! So I'm actually posting!! I wanted to do this because I feel like I always carry quite a lot in my bag, so yeah, I hope you all enjoy!

I always always ALWAYS carry lip balm around with me! Because I can't stand having chapped lips and plus I then always end up buying another which I really don't need! I would recommend Eos or Carmex.

As well as lip balm I always have hand cream, I literally can't cope with dry hands and I hate it!! I usually have 'Hand Food' by Soap & Glory.

Another thing I sometimes have depending on how much space I have, I usually carry around hand wipes just because sometimes I don't want to use sinks or when I'm on long journeys.

Ok I think this is a must for girls, hair bands and bobbi pins (hair grips!) I always end up putting my hair up when I'm out wether it's windy or been raining I always have to have a hair band and bobbi pins in my bag.

Last one now! Dry shampoo and hairspray, I know this may sound super weird but I hate it when you put your hair up and you have little hairs falling out so I love hairspray! Dry shampoo I always find helpful because if your hair goes a bit greasy than why not have a dry shampoo to hand!

March Favourites

March Favourites

I know it's a bit early, but I've never done one of these before and I really wanted to do one!

I'm going to start of with beauty, I recently got some more real techniques brushes, all together I've got about 12 now! I got the 'Expert Face Brush' and the 'Blush Brush' I really like these because they're really soft and I feel like they add a nicer effect to your face. Another thing I've been loving is the Erase Paste by Benefit, I've had this for about 2 months and I love it, it really covers spots and under eyes very well, but you really have to set it or it doesn't feel very nice.

This isn't beauty but I've really been loving it, it is 'Love, Tanya' I really love this book and the makeup tips in it are really good and I found helpful.

I don't think I have anything else for beauty so I'll move on to just general things. Earlier this month I went to my cousins and we started to watch American Horror Story, she is already on season 3, but I love the show now! It is a little creepy but that's what makes it different and interesting. My last one is Aladdin. I know that must sound really weird but it's my all time favourite Disney movie! I nearly know all the words!

Firstly I'm soo sorry I haven't been on in ages I've just been really busy at the minute but I'll try to post twice a week from now on.

Cover

The front is so photogenic and I love it! Especially how they've out lots of different images on there. The cover really caught my eye even though I was going to buy it anyway as I literally love her videos and her.

The Book

I love the book content so much, I don't know wether I prefer the first part or the second as I loved learning more about Tanya but then I loved the bit all about beauty and really learned some helpful tips. As well as that I loved how when you get to the beauty section you can make little lists of what new items you want.

Overall

All together I love the book! That might be just because I love her YouTube, but I still find it very helpful when it gets to the beauty even if you don't like her, I would rate it 10/10! Very proud of you Tanya.

Girl Online Review!

Girl Online by Zoë Sugg

When I first heard about the book I was sooo excited because I love her videos in case you didn't know! But it took me ages to actually buy it! When I started the book I was really excited and happy, it took me a while to get in to the book but when I did I couldn't put it down!

When I bought the book I loved the cover it has such nice and contrasting colours! Also I love the little polaroids and fairy lights. The first thing I did when I got the book was read the blurb on the back, I was literally like, "OMFG!!" Especially the end it was so dramatic!

I love love loved how the book started as it caught me as it was a blog post it explained everything really well!

When I got to around page 100 I couldn't put it down I think overall I read it in about 1 week!

The plot is about a teenage girl who has been experiencing panic attacks, she is quite shy and only expresses herself properly through her blog. Then her parents and her go to New York for a couple of days as her parents are organising a wedding and she meets a boy, I shall not say anymore......

Okay overall I love this book so much! I rate it 10/10! Just because I really enjoyed it and most of friends have too! So yeah go and buy it!
